Dr. Magdy S. Guirguis
Dr. Magdy S. Guirguis has been practicing for over 14 years. He established Advanced Chiropractic Center in 1991. He is married and has three young children, Kayla, Sophia and Noah. In his free time he enjoys playing volunteering at his children’s schools. With over 20 years experience as a volleyball player, he has coached high school and college volleyball. He has also served as the chiropractor for several professional volleyball tours. Dr. Guirguis is a volunteer athletic and health coach for the members of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s TEAM in Training. He holds a Bachelors degree in Biology from California State University-Northridge. He is a 1988 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College-Los Angeles. He is fluent in Arabic.
Dr. Michael Campbell, D.C.
Dr. Campbell has over 15 years of experience in diet and exercise. He was a massage therapist for 7 years before attending Chiropractic College. He specializes in muscle balancing and myofascial techniques for which he has taken many hours of continuing education to learn better ways of helping his patients. Dr. Campbell is a mixed martial artist and has taken many different styles of martial arts including: Shotokan, Judo, Wing Chun, Tai Chi and Brazilian Jui-Jitsu with Ryron Gracie (who is also a patient.) Dr. Campbell Graduated with Honors from the prestigious Cleveland Chiropractic College and has a Bachelors degree in Human Biology. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for LA County Fire Dept. for four years and participated in the creation of a volunteer chiropractic program at The LA Free Clinic. He is a Member of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, the California Chiropractic Association and The American Chiropractic Association.
Tamara D. Trebilcock, ND
Dr. Trebilcock is a California licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She received her medical degree from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, the nation's leader in Natural Medicine for General Practitioners.
Dr. Trebilcock specializes in treating inflammatory bowel conditions, constipation, IBS, low general energy, hormonal imbalances, heavy metal toxicity, environmental toxicity, gynecological conditions, PMS, anxiety and depression.
Dr. Trebilcock is the owner of Integrative Health Institutes (IHI), a leader in Integrative Medicine. She serves as a consultant and lecturer providing expertise in the field of Integrative Medicine. She is the Southern California representative for Bastyr University Alumni, and participates on an Advisory Council for the creation of integrative clinics across the country. She serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association, and is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and Holistic Health Network.
Dr.
Trebilcock believes in the healing power of nature as a major component
in healing. She strives to educate, honor, and listen to all her
patients to discover the individual obstacles to cure that prevent
optimal wellness.Deborah S. Kim, L.a.c.,Dip.OM (NCCAOM) is a California State and Nationally licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Asian Bodywork Therapist. She graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Pre-Medical Studies and Environmental Studies/Geography. She then received her Master's Degree with Honors in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the esteemed Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is currently working on her postgraduate Diplomate of Acupuncture Orthopedics status from NBAO (National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedists) at the distinguished Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Acupuncture and related therapies (cupping, moxibustion, asian bodywork therapy, etc.) are a complete form of Internal Medicine which have been used for thousands of years as part of a holistic healing paradigm treating a wide variety of health concerns. Along with herbal, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, health and healing from a multitude of ailments is possible and optimal health can be achieved. Deborah's areas of specialty include pain management, sports injury (including yoga!), digestive heath and weight loss, detoxification and environmental toxicity, stress and depression, fatigue/low-energy, and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (the "Acupuncture face-lift").
Deborah is also a certified Tai Qi and Qigong (Chinese Energetic Movement Arts) instructor as well as a Yoga Instructor and an avid daily practitioner of both.
She enjoys traveling, music (playing drums has proven particularly good for stress relief!) and generally being in upside down yoga postures.
